About Ann Nunziata
I am a fine artist living in Napa, California. I feel a a strong attachment to the land and culture of my home.
Formally trained as an electrical engineer, I believe in science. I believe in Climate Change because I have experienced it first hand. My community has been subject to increasing temperatures, extended droughts, and severe fire danger. Â
In these times of divisiveness, I try to create spread positivity by rendering images that convey comfort and reassurance. My goal is to convey the deep affection I feel towards my subjects, while imbuing them with a sense of warmth and relevance.
I paint in watercolor because I enjoy the technical challenge and immediacy of the medium. My artwork frequently focuses on bringing vanishing wildlife and places to the awareness of others. I hope you will be inspired to contribute to conservation efforts. At the very least, your purchases help me donate annually to environmental organizations such as Napa-Solano Audubon, Marine Mammal Center, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Napa Wildlife Rescue, and Nature Conservancy.
